Shipping Policy

Last Updated: [Insert Date]

At Fenrir, we are committed to delivering your order safely and efficiently. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship and deliver orders throughout South Africa.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Shipping Locations

Fenrir currently ships nationwide within South Africa using Aramex Store-to-Door courier services.

At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully received and verified.

Orders are not processed on:

  • Saturdays
  • Sundays
  • South African public holidays

Orders placed after business hours may be processed on the next business day.

During promotional periods, holidays or high-volume sales, processing times may be longer.

Delivery Time

Once dispatched, estimated delivery is:

8–11 Business Days

Delivery times are estimates only and begin once your order has been collected by Aramex.

Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Delivery times may vary depending on:

  • Your location
  • Remote or outlying delivery areas
  • Weather conditions
  • National events
  • Courier operational delays
  • Circumstances beyond Fenrir's reasonable control

Fenrir cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated during promotional campaigns.

From time to time, Fenrir may offer free shipping promotions.

These promotions may be withdrawn or amended without prior notice.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your Aramex tracking number (where available).

Tracking updates are provided directly by Aramex.

Fenrir is not responsible for delays in courier tracking updates.

Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is:

  • Accurate
  • Complete
  • Accessible

Fenrir is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional courier charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.

Should a parcel be returned to Fenrir due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs required to resend the order.

Failed Delivery Attempts

Aramex may attempt delivery more than once depending on its operational procedures.

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • No one is available to receive the parcel;
  • The delivery address is incorrect;
  • Access to the property is restricted; or
  • The customer cannot be contacted,

the parcel may be returned to Fenrir.

Additional delivery charges may apply before the parcel is resent.

Risk and Ownership

Ownership of the goods passes to the customer once full payment has been received.

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery to the address provided during checkout, in accordance with applicable South African law.

Delayed Deliveries

While we work closely with Aramex to ensure timely deliveries, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Civil unrest
  • Industrial action
  • Public holidays
  • Road closures
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Courier operational delays
  • Government restrictions

Fenrir shall not be liable for delays caused by these events.

Lost Parcels

If your parcel appears to be lost in transit, please contact us as soon as possible.

Fenrir will investigate the shipment with Aramex before determining the appropriate resolution.

Investigations may take several business days depending on the courier.

Replacement or refund decisions will only be made once the courier investigation has been completed.

Damaged Deliveries

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please:

  • Take photographs before opening the package (where possible)
  • Photograph the damaged product
  • Contact Fenrir within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to report damage within a reasonable period may affect our ability to investigate the claim with the courier.

Incorrect Orders

If you receive the wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Do not use the product.

Fenrir will arrange the appropriate solution once the issue has been verified.

Delivery Delays

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

Fenrir shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect losses
  • Consequential losses
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of income
  • Loss of opportunity

arising from delayed deliveries where such delays are outside Fenrir's reasonable control.

Nothing in this clause limits any rights granted under the Consumer Protection Act.

Order Changes

Once an order has been placed, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made.

If your order has not yet been processed, we will make reasonable efforts to assist.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be redirected or amended.

Order Cancellation

Orders may only be cancelled before they have been dispatched.

If the order has already been shipped, the customer must follow our Return Policy.

Where permitted by law, any non-recoverable payment processing or shipping costs already incurred may be deducted from any refund.

Delivery Acceptance

By accepting delivery, the customer confirms that the parcel appears to have been delivered in acceptable condition unless damage is reported within the timeframe set out in this policy.

Consumer Rights

Nothing contained in this Shipping Policy limits or excludes any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other applicable South African legislation.

Where any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory provisions of South African law, the applicable law shall prevail.

Notes

A few points to keep this policy compliant and accurate:

  • Avoid promising exact delivery dates; "8–11 business days" should remain an estimate.
  • If you advertise "Free Shipping," make any conditions (e.g., minimum order value) clear.
  • Under the CPA, consumers retain their statutory rights. Clauses that attempt to exclude those rights won't be enforceable, so the policy expressly preserves them while still limiting your liability where the law allows
